Sunflower trained by Laxman Singh with S S Tanwar up wins The Adilabad Plate 2018 at The Hyderabad Race Club

Sunflower (Multidimensional – Ave Maria) also earned her first winning bracket with a gallant start to finish effort, beating favourite Adoria to second. She took well and maintained a lead of two lengths all the way into the straight.

Laxman Singh trained Sunflower grew stronger in the straight and quickened to dart away from Adoria. Sunflower sped away in the final furlong to win by a big margin, jockey Tanwar Singh easing his mount in the last few strides. Adoria ended second more than three lengths behind and Adamant N Rising earned some stakes for the very first time while ending third ahead of Madonna.
